At Gardewine, we know that teamwork isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a way of life. And nothing demonstrates this better than our recent involvement in the 2024 Manitoba Games, where our LTL and Deck Divisions came together to deliver more than just goods; we delivered an experience.
This year, Gardewine had the honor of sponsoring the 2024 Manitoba Games, held in Dauphin. Our contribution? Three critical loads that helped make the Games a reality. Among the items we transported were the basketball court, which saw action at the Canada Life Centre during the Winnipeg Sea Bears’ season, and the beds where athletes will catch their much-needed rest after a day of competition.
The excitement around the basketball events has been palpable. The same floor that hosted intense Sea Bears matchups has now found a temporary home at the Parkland Recreation Complex, thanks to a fantastic team effort. We were thrilled to see our team work seamlessly with partners like McMunn & Yates, the staff at Canada Life Centre, and an army of dedicated local volunteers.
The basketball portion of the Manitoba Games tipped off on Monday, and it’s been a thrill to know that Gardewine played a part in making it happen. But this wasn’t just a corporate sponsorship; it was a true Gardewine family effort. Our teams worked hand-in-hand to ensure everything was delivered on time and in perfect condition.
