Owen Infuso’s Growth Story at Gardewine

At Gardewine, we believe in giving people a chance to grow—Owen Infuso’s journey shows just how far that can take you. Owen is working towards his finance degree at the University of Winnipeg and first joined us in the summer of 2024 as a Sales Co-op Intern. Right from the start, he dove into the fast-paced world of logistics sales, learning the ropes and embracing every challenge.

Fast forward to summer 2025, and Owen is back—this time on the docks. Now working as a Dock Unloader in our Rush Freight division, he thrives on the fast, hands-on nature of his role.
“I unload, track loads, answer client questions, and help keep things running smoothly. Every day brings something new, and that’s what I love,” Owen shares.

Owen’s also taken on helping new teammates maintain performance standards, with a strong focus on safety. He appreciates the clear structure and open communication at Gardewine—regular meetings and on-the-floor support keep everyone connected.

Reflecting on his time here, Owen values the supportive team environment and the chance to grow in different roles—from office desks to dock floors. His story truly reflects what Gardewine stands for: opportunities, support, and building futures together.
