“Every day brings a new challenge, and that’s what I love about my role,” says Danmeet Singh, a Service Writer in the Maintenance Department at Gardewine’s Winnipeg terminal for the past year. From managing the trailer shop and coordinating equipment repairs to handling breakdowns for drivers on the road, Danmeet plays a vital role in keeping operations on track—even in the most demanding situations.
Danmeet credits his growth to the supportive environment at Gardewine. “The appreciation I’ve received from my foreman, Bill, and my colleagues motivates me every day. Bill often acknowledges my willingness to step in during emergencies or cover shifts when needed, and that recognition truly means a lot to me.”
Outside of work, Danmeet finds joy in reading non-fiction books, exploring political topics, and staying active with hiking, gym workouts, and long drives.
“At Gardewine, I’ve found a place where hard work is noticed and valued. That inspires me to give my best every day,” he shares.
